Goostrey Tennis Club triumphs in League competitions
​
PROMOTION NEXT SEASON IN THE
SMC TENNIS CLUB LEAGUE
DIVISION 2 FOR GOOSTREY MENS 'A' TEAM.
Goostrey Tennis Club won three trophies at the recent South and Mid Cheshire Tennis League presentation event in Congleton.
​
The club’s Men’s A team came top of their division in the Spring League, beating Cuddington D, Congleton E, Nantwich C, Congleton D and Wrenbury B along the way. Team Captain Andrew Brierley and Jason Lynch collected the trophy; other team members were Luke Brierley, Mike Saxton and Richard Saxton.

The Men’s A team also won the Barbara Smith end of Winter league Knockout Cup, which was presented to the winning team Luke Brierley, Jason Lynch, Mike Saxton and Richard Saxton.
The third trophy was won by Jason Lynch who won the Veterans Mixed Doubles tournament held on the presentation day.

The competition is open to all subscribed members of the Goostrey Village Hall & Playing Fields Foundation.
